We LOVE the Edinburgh Fringe.  We grew up with the excitement of the whole month, the amazing shows and the many awards on offer for comedy. We wanted to see whether a comedy awards where judges see all eligible shows could be run by volunteers.  So here they are the (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards. ISH stands for Insert Sponsor Here and YOU or your company could have your name on the awards - just contact us to donate the £20,000 sponsorship we need for the 3 prizes for the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe.

How does the sponsorship work?
We are looking for one sponsor to give us the £20,000 needed to fund the 3 awards.  The moment we get a sponsor, the awards and website etc will carry their name instead of 'ish'. If we don't get a sponsor, there will just be the prestige on offer (and a very small cash prize, and a trophy if we can afford them).

Who we are

We are a collective of people that love the Edinburgh Fringe and wanted Edinburgh Comedy Awards to happen this year run by volunteers.  There will be approx 30 panel members and a few support people, answering emails and allocating shows, and we're all doing it for free!  Find out how the awards will be judged here and if you want to get involved as a Panel Judge please contact us.
